November 10, 2023 – Plano East Rotary Club Honors Our Veterans
Did you see the wonderful flag display this past week to honor our veterans? The Plano East Rotary Club (including Rick & Patti Boyer from our church) spent a great deal of time prepraring for this event. There were over 1,100 flags standing tall.
On November 10, our very own Lynice Prescott was asked to sing the National Anthem. She rocked it. You can CLICK HERE or click on the image to watch the short video.
May 28, 2023 – Releasing of the Doves
On the first Sunday of Pentecost, May 28, 2023, our congregation released [biodegradable] Doves from the Church parking lot.
June 5, 2022 Releasing of the Doves
On the first Sunday of Pentecost, June 5, 2022, our congregation wrote messages on biodegradable doves and released them from the Church parking lot.
December 18, 2021 - Joint Christmas Concert with Disciples Christian Church, ACTS II, and Spanish SDA (5:30 PM)
On December 18, families and friends of ACTS II, Plano Spanish SDA Church of Plano and our own Disciples Christian Church joined together to sing songs of adoration, listened to the Christmas Story and lit the candles of Christmas. This is a first time for many and it was special! Each church choir sang two songs, there was congregational singing and then two songs were sung by the joint choir. You know that with Pastor Gray leading the singing, it can be pretty fun. There was a cookie and punch reception following the program.

On the first Sunday of Pentecost, May 23, 2021, our released [biodegradable] doves from the Church parking lot.
2019 Annual Christmas Concert - November 30, 2019
The video is of Pastor Golsan and Pastor Gray singing a duet at our 2nd annual Christmas Concert. The title of the duet is "Christmas in Our Hearts" and was written by Jose Mari Chan. A few pictures of some of the other soloists are also included.
