Evangelism, church growth, acclimate new member

To instill an evangelistic spirit into all facets of our church life: children, youth, adults and worship. Work toward seeing more people come to know and trust Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and commit to become members of our church. Give oversight to evangelistic calling, newcomer classes and integration into our church.

Church Board and fellow members of the congregation

• Recruit fellow members to serve on the evangelism ministry team.
• Encourage new ideas.
• Maintain and encourage a friendly environment for visitors to DCC.
• Coordinate bread delivery to first-time visitors.
• Schedule orientation events four times/year.
• Recruit and train greeters.
• Arrange for promotion and advertising of church calendar and events through local media, the Internet, Yellow Pages, etc.
• Prepare and lead two events per year that are intentionally designed to reach out to the community and be visitor-friendly.

• CCSW and NTA seminars and workshops

• Resources supplied by ministry staff

A passion for seeing people come to know and follow Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. A desire to see the church grow in spirit, grace and size. The spiritual gifts of evangelism and leadership.
