The Disciples Women's Ministry will be meeting on
Tuesday, August 3, at 7:00 PM, in the party room of Barbara Ramsey's
condo building. James Ford's HOTEL ON THE CORNER OF BITTER AND SWEET
is the book selection for this month. Copies are available for any

At our next VBS
Meeting / Workday will take place on Saturday, August 7 at
10am when we will finalize sets, signage, crafts, etc. for this
summer’s program Hidden Treasures — Powerful Parables.
VBS will take place August 9—13 from 9 am—12 pm. Please let Kristina
Nordyke or Julie Boyer know if you’re able to help in some way.
Be sure to check out the "Helping Hand" donation board in the
Atrium. There are pre-filled donation slips tacked to the board.
We need DCC members to select one or more of these slips and donate the
item on the slips to this summer’s VBS program. Please attach the
slip to the item you are donating.
Donated items can be brought to the church during office
hours (M-Th 9am - 3 pm) or you may take it to the Youth Room downstairs
on Sundays. Deadline for donated items is Saturday, August 7 when
the next VBS workday will take place.
Be sure to look for VBS participant and volunteer registration
forms that will be posted
on a bulletin board in the Atrium soon. |
