A
Message from Rev. David
Thanksgiving
is a great time to celebrate the blessings that God has put before us.
But more than just feasting on turkey and dressing, mashed potatoes and gravy,
pumpkin pie and whipped topping, Thanksgiving is about feasting on the goodness
of God. Sometimes it’s hard to see that goodness in light of sickness and
disease and the despair that seems to plague our world and more personally our
lives. However it’s important that we remember that in the midst of the chaos
in and around our lives is a God and a Son, Jesus Christ, who desires to become
intimately involved in our lives and who promises to share not just our sorrow
but also our joy and for that we can be ever thankful.
This
Thanksgiving we’re thankful for the many blessings that God has done in our
lives through the love, kindness, support and generosity of the members and
friends of DCC.

few minutes to think about this and write your ideas down because we really
want to hear from you!
