Updated Prayer Requests

The prayer
requests in The Link each week are recent updates. A list of ongoing prayer
requests appears in our worship bulletin each Sunday.
First off,
we want to thank all who have helped us in the moving and adjusting period of
our stay at
a lot of
settling and acclimating yet to do, but one thing we have enjoyed is so many
great and varied places to eat right around here. When you
come in
from a small town, you really appreciate that!
It is an
exciting time for us and an exciting time at Disciples CC! We got off to a great start Sunday! We enjoyed worship, with so many singing in
the choir. Diane was the preacher last
week (just in case you were not here), and Galen will be preaching Sunday. We enjoyed meeting many of you. Everyone is so friendly! That is a great way to make everyone
comfortable here. Now, we look forward
to meeting more people and working with you in the weeks to come. Most importantly, if you have any needs, or
know of others who do, please let us know.
In the meantime, come and meet us and hear us and get to know us
better!

Telling the Good News: Online!
If you have not stopped
by the DCC website recently, click
on over. A significant update was made on Monday, November 12. There
are photos of Trunk or Treat. You can access them from snapfish.com. You will
need a username and a password, but it only takes a few seconds to get
registered. There are 19 photos online from our fall festival, which was
Saturday, October 27.
Remember, church leaders can find important documents on the download
page.
Also, don't forget to visit the
online calendar. It enables you to send yourself reminders of upcoming
events, send invitations to friends and colleagues and download the church
schedule to your personal computer. You can find all of the church activities,
birthdays and anniversaries on that calendar, as well as the scheduled
Elders, Deacons and Connectors for each Sunday.
Also, there is a place to submit
prayer requests.
For website suggestions,
please e-mail the church office.
